My motivation is simple. I'm tired of watching this district be treated like it doesn't matter.

I was born and raised right here in MD-01 with one rule:

“Don't complain unless you plan to do something about it.”

So I'm doing something about it.

For too long, the people of this district have been written off. Not worth real conversation, not worth real investment, not worth representing at all. We've been told the numbers don't add up. That we're too rural, too spread out, too hard to reach. And that kind of thinking, on top of a party that won't engage Black voters here, is exactly why Democrats keep losing in MD-01. This district is worth a real fight.

I'm running because this district deserves a representative who will go everywhere and talk to everyone. All eleven counties. Every community. Without corporate PAC money and without NY and DC consultants.

This isn't only about Andy Harris. I'm working to dismantle a system that has deliberately stunted MD-01 for decades. Our schools are starved for the federal funding they're owed. Healthcare access isn't keeping up. The cost of living keeps climbing while wages stay flat. I'll fight tooth and nail to fix all of that for us.

As SCOTUS gives the green light to suppress Black voices more than ever, I'm using mine to shout louder. Twenty years of media experience taught me how to reach people from every background. We're building a real community. People are starting to feel seen and heard. That's how we win, and that's how we make real change happen.

We're not waiting around anymore. And we're not getting left behind.
