You don't need an ID. Here's what to expect.

Do You Need an ID?

  • Maryland does not require photo ID to vote. You give your name and address at your polling place and they check you off the list.
  • If you registered by mail for the first time and didn't provide ID with your registration, you may be asked to show identification. A utility bill, bank statement, or government document with your name and address works.
